VANCOUVER AQUARIUM

CAPILANO SUSPENSION BRIDGE / OUTDOOR DIARY OF THE WIMPY KID 2 MOVIE IN VANCOUVER, CANADA

So there was this little passport thing you had to stamp to show that we made it to all the cool spots at the Capilano suspension bridge park that way we could get this really really legit certificate...haha! Debbie started it...haha!
 YO MAMA'S FLOWER FRO...YO!

Outdoor movie in a Vancouver Park. Seth went and got us dinner as Debbie and I played Skip-Bo and set up our gear. If you haven't seen those movies...they are so so funny!

This park allows you to walk in the temperate rain forest canapy with all the tall cedars and Douglas firs...Seth is on a huge tree kick b/c he wants to start a tree farm so he was reading all the little info spots about all the trees....so so cute! The Capilano River flowed below that was full of Salmon swimming up stream!
 BANANA SLUGS!!!!!

Cliff Walk...if you look closely you will see a bride and groom getting their wedding pictures taken!  This was really cool you walked along a cliff, but not next to the cliff!

Better view of the Cliff Walk...we felt like we were in a modernized version of the Swiss Family Robinson tree house!
Who thinks I look just like Jessi here??? Every time I look at this picture I think it is her!!!

WE MADE IT!!! WE GOT ALL OUR STAMPS!! We had a few close calls with dried out or hidden stamp tables but we did it!!!

DECEPTION PASS

There goes Debbie again...hitting up the fruit stand!!!

Our bellies are full of dungeness crab sandwich!!!
Deception Pass view...we sat on the rocks and absorbed there heat.  And talked about our girly audio book that we listened too on our day trips!
Beautiful view of the San Juan Islands! Now off to the outlet shops!!!

FLATTERY CAPE AND RUBY BEACH!

Banana Slugs are the thing out here! Fact: Their slime has a numbing toxin that effects the predators mouth... Raccoon's have figured out if they roll them in dirt first the toxin doesn't effect them!
This is the most north western point of the continental USA...so Debbie went with us to the southernmost point on our last assignment and how she is at the complete opposite end of the USA!
There was a gratto tucked back in the cave wall.
The water was surprisingly clear and a very pretty blue in the shallow part!
Perfect example of all the beautiful rocks on the beaches....I always end up with a stiff neck because I can't stop looking for pretty rocks!
Ruby beach...and this is August in Olympic National Park!!!
This was a very important and strategic photo that Debbie worked hard to get...Seth scaring the seagulls!
THIS IS FOR YOU SISTER!! I GOT MY MACE OUT AND KEPT MY EYES OPEN!!!

Seth reflecting on his 27th year as he turned 28 on Ruby Beach!!! At least it sounds good...but I really bet he is thinking about how he can climb that bigger rock across the way! Nailed it!

H-A-P-P-Y B--I-R-T-H-D-A-Y Handsome Hot Hubby!!! The big 2-8!!!
None other than the REI headquarters store...where Seth and I spend a VERY good amount of time! He is addicted to the REI garage (huge discount bargain barn place) Debbie is looking for an ULTRA ULTRA light tent for her backpacking trip!
Tutta Bella pizza was a good end to the night!
