DECEPTION PASS WITH UNCLE GLENN

Here is the one of three Lululemon Outlets in the USA...I am mad at my Dad for getting me on to their clothes....I love them, but they are way to pricey!
Rod and Seth eating Fish and Chips!
Uncle Glenn was so sweet and treated us all to some Fish N Chips at a seafood resturant. I learned about some crazy stories about Uncle Glenn when we was on the Ice Breaker Ship...one time he about got thrown overboard by water that came over the side of the ship! Uncle Glenn said that "Grandma Margie was just the best sister in the World"  I truly truly enjoyed my precious time with him!
We are at the Deception Pass Rock...Rod was our photographer!
San Juan Islands in the background!

We went on a speed boat tour underneath Deception Pass, and it had some beautiful views of the bridge and the islands...we also saw spotted seals!

Good ole' Uncle Glenn!
I guessed the trivia question on our boat ride and won a HUGE ice cream cone...Question: What do you call a group of Jellyfish? Answer: Smacks (No one was getting it and then they gave the hint about the green frog on this cereal box...and I nailed it...I know my cereal!)
I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!! Uncle Glenn waving Goodbye from his trusty old house!

ASTORIA, CANON BEACH, MULTNOMAH FALLS

Astoria bridge...this was our view from where we ate lunch on the Columbia River.  This is where the Goonies and Kindergarten Cop was filmed!

We went to Lewis and Clark National Historic Park right near Astoria, because that was Lewis and Clark's destination to the west before they turned back. I never thought of the troops (it was a military expedition) that Lewis and Clark led to be considered the best of the best...like Special Forces but they were! Good thing because they ran into the "White Bear" which was the Grizzly all over...they had yet to see a Polar Bear to really know what a white bear looks like!
CANON BEACH...with TIDAL POOLS full of Starfish and Sea Anemones!!!
This dog was the smartest thing Seth and I had ever seen...plus it does Yoga...like that downward Dog pose there! So Seth was watching it play fetch with the owner down the beach, it must have saw that we were watching and it ran directly at it...I was kind of intimidated, but then it dropped it stick in front of me and hunkered down into the downward dog pose waiting to pounce on the stick that I threw...so so so cute and smart!!! That is a Boarder Collie for you...Seth might want one now...and I JUST WANT A PUPPY!!!
There were masses upon masses of starfish EVERYWHERE you looked on the Canon Rock!!!

That Rock behind us was covered with muscles and barnacles...and if you got real close and just listened you could hear hissing sounds...CRAZY!!

It was cold and we needed Coffee...because we are Seattle people now and that is what you do up here!
This was a historic view point made so people who drove over this scenic route could enjoy a beautiful view of the Columbia River and have a bathroom break!

There were like 5 waterfalls all in a row on our way to Multnomah Falls...Debbie you would have loved this beautiful drive!

 Multnomah Falls, Oregon
This is the 2nd tallest year round waterfall in the USA, and a very photographed waterfall as well!

PIZZA, PIKE'S, & DOUGHNUTS

Seth took me to this really good pizza place in downtown Seattle...and they had Mexican COKE in a glass bottle....WONDERFUL!!!
Seth tried out their Melon soup, because the stuff in Victoria was fabulous...also I made a pretty good melon soup...and I think I liked the one I made better then this one...they put too much lavender in it.

They are throwing the fish behind us!
We rented the book "HOOT" in honor of Terrie Sexton for our next mini-trip in the Downtown Seattle Library...way cool!
 Mona-rail and Space Needle
Played on our iPad and ate doughnuts!

ORIGINAL STARBUCKS...THIS IS FOR YOU MARCUS!

We went by the Original Starbucks because Marcus told us we had to get a picture outside of it...sorry to tell him it really did look like the Original...no bells and whistles at all! I figured out that Starbucks has sweet tea and I have been getting my fix there...I was on withdrawal because there are no chick-fli-a up here!!!

Columbia Building...the tallest one in the Seattle Skyline!

OUR HOME

This is our home in Seattle...it is a very "enchanting" place with really old english architecture and fountains in the gardens...however we kind of live in a cold, dark, basement with spiders...but the Lord provided a three month contract and those are hard to find!
This is our living room...we have big rugs all over!

Back in the back is where Seth stored all his REI purchases...haha!
Our dark kitchen...I needed a head lamp to read my recipes :-) For real though I did!

 Pretty archway hallway
 Pedestal Sink in the bathroom

So we complain about it being so dark...but in our room there was this beautiful stain glass window....but the angle of the sun in the morning was directed right on our faces...If we wanted any sort of darkness we had to sleep sideways in the bed and tuck our heads in that back left corner and put pillows up around our face! So it was dark where we need light and light where we needed dark...isn't that how it goes....good story though!
This is our crazy stinky closet...I did everything to get that funk out...our clothes even started smelling of the funk!
