REI DREAMWORLD FOR SETH

I have a feeling that we are going to be spending many many many hours here!

MT. RAINIER NATIONAL PARK: VIDEO CONTEST

This is a huge Volcano that just shoots up in the skyline anywhere you look in Seattle...it is like you look out the passenger side window and there is Rainier...then out the driver side a few minutes...you can always see this thing (IF IT IS A CLEAR DAY...if it is cloudy it is like this huge mountain just disappears, you would never know it was there...crazy!
We were looking at sun flares and storms on the sun through this high tech telescope.
We backpacked to our camp in maple creek.
This was the first hotter/clear day for Seattle's summer and this park was bumper to bumper...just like the dreaded rush hour we were trying to get away from...as was everyone else in Seattle. So our backpacking trip got us away from all the traffic, it was a beautiful hike!
We came here to put together a video for a travel nursing video contest.
That was my toothpaste spit cup...and Seth drank it! Sick Nasty!! haha!

Mirror Lake that still had snow and ice all over it...so pretty

LEAVENWORTH: BAVARIAN TOWN

This was a beautiful little town...we felt like we were in Europe in the middle of Washington State!  There were flower boxes everywhere, every single business in the town (McDonald's, Safeway, Bank of America, Subway, 76 Gas Station...everything) had European architectural setup. It was such a neat feel, and not only was the buildings authentic looking but the food....was amazing!!!
Seth went to this chocolate store three times!! It was the best chocolate I had ever had, they had these sea salt carmels...yummy!!
This was the best pretzel I have ever eaten in my life...it was roll your eyes good...so good you didn't want to chew b/c you didn't want the flavor to end in your mouth!!!  Seth had Schnitzel and red cabbage ( I ate cabbage just for you Debbie!) and we had an accordion player playing in the background with some older people dancing to polka!! Loved it!

Hat store...so we had to play dress up!! Seth's three wishes were all for more chocolate!!!
I was on a Harry Potter kick because the final movie came out the next day!!!
Medusa!! Don't look into my eyes!
This is my new boutique dress that I got in Leavenworth...I couldn't wait to wear it!
See what I mean...there was detail everywhere!

My favorite part of Leavenworth was their summer theater!! The first night we watched "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" which was really funny and I was very impressed!  The next night we watched "The Sound of Music" up in the Cascade's as the sun was setting on the hillside we started hearing "The Hills are alive with the Sound of Music...." that was such a wonderful night!

FORKS: THE TWILIGHT MECCA (OR SO WE WERE TOLD...HAHA)

We visited Olympic National Park for the first time, and this is a view from Hurricane Ridge (Josh told us to go here...great recommendation) Seth is trying to point to Mt. Olympus!
 There is my Dream Boat!!!
 WILD AT HEART!!!!

The truck that Bella uses in Twilight, this was outside of the visitor center. Forks had a very stead flow of Twilighters, which surprised me to see so many!! Just think of the people who lived there before Twilight...these books completely changed their little town! There is Twilight stuff everywhere!!! Hotels advertise that "Edward Cullen Did NOT Sleep here" haha!  "Twilighters Welcome" signs are everywhere, there are quite a few store completely devoted to Twilight!! They went from having 10,000 visitors a year to 80,000 visitors in just one year!  They say they had some german girls come into the visitor center and fall to their knees and weep because they were in Forks...Home of Twilight...OH MY GOODNESS I KNOW!!!

 Where Bella worked...
 Edward and Bella's High School...

 Where Charlie got his coffee....
 Swan Home....
 La Push Beach....BEAUTIFUL!!!

I was on a hunt for pretty stones to make crafts!!

 Found one!

LITTLE SI

We hiked the Little Si mountain up to a view. It was nice to get out of the house, because I had been cleaning, unpacking, laundry, and cleaning over our first week in Seattle. Seth wanted to make sure to get me out and enjoy some fresh air!

BADLANDS, YELLOWSTONE, MT. RUSHMORE, JASPER, BANFF, GLACIER....THAT IS A ROBINSON VACATION
