We loved our trip home, it was full of seeing family & friends...however I (Brooke) had tons and tons of pictures to take along with tons of homework...but it all got done!  Yes, my poor sweet Indy was cone dog when I was home...poor thing.  Mom spoiled us with some good food as always!  I got to spend not enough time with my little baby Hope & Debbie...we went shopping and to the Apple Butter Making Days together.  Debbie, Sarah, and I have been enjoying the show on Fox "Raising Hope" it so so cute!  I am uploading the blog today for Mrs. Stephanie because she new the exact date of my last blog ( love you lady)....and I have been such a slacker so sorry!  I got an email saying my big final project was ready to go to the board!!!  I am going to graduate with my master's in December woot woot!!!  Jessi and I had a fun day date with Miss. Addie & Miss. Gracie....check out the pictures haha!

PLYMOUTH ROCK & CAPE COD!!!!

Here it is....what you all have been waiting for...PLYMOUTH ROCK! Yes, Yes, I know it is crazy cool..haha!  This is a shout out to Krissi Spence Plymouth, Mass is her favorite place in the entire world & this rock was so interesting to her...haha!  We left for this little road trip not knowing exactly what we were going to do.....either Boston & Salem Witch Trials or Cape Cod.  I was telling my sister that is one of my favorite things to do with Seth...just hop in the car not knowing where we will end up, stick in a audio book, get a coke, and enjoy our time and God's country....and just go crazy!!!

 This is a great picture, b/c it gives Plymouth an erie feel....and that is just what it has (family do you remember Madame Teresa?)

 Seth and I split an amazing Lobster Roll....yes I love seafood now...edit some seafood :)

 We took a nap on a beautiful Cape Cod beach....the sand was so fine and soft!

 Seth has tears in his eyes because this "COD" from "CAPE COD" was so Fabulous!!!!!!!!!  Isn't he cute?

We just drove home by the seat of our pants and found this little festival going on...I got a lemon ice and Seth tried to throw one of those huge ropes for boats!

 

MARK TWAIN'S HOME IN HARTFORD

This is where Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) raised his family & wrote his novels....such as Huckleberry Finn & Tom Sawyer!  As you can see from the outside the brick was painted to make intricate designs which gave it a very artistic look.  The interior decorator of his house was "Tiffany"....yes yes the Tiffany from NYC!!!

 This was Harriet Beacher Stowe's House. Hartford was the fastest growing cities of its time, and they had an area where well-known readers started a community.

Mark Twain's books were and still are banned in many many schools due to its racial remarks, however the sole purpose of Huckleberry Finn is to confront slavery and racisim...because it was being written during the Civil War era!

FANTASY FOOTBALL TAKE OVER!!!!

My husband only enjoys reading his Bible and & Fantasy Football Magazines...with the occasional trail guide book :)  Seth gets so pumped for his fantasy...and the picture above was draft night...it was like he was studying for a huge final or something...haha!!!  I love him so so much!
