WINTHROP...COWBOY TOWN!

 The picture at the bottom catches the beauty of the lake much more, but this is a glacier fed lake. Nine glaciers melt flows into this lake which creates the milky green color that we see up in Canada at Lake Louise! This was along the Cascade Loop near Cascade National Park!

 Winthrop was an old cowboy town that had cute shops and restaurants. It was like a mini Silver Dollar City where people actually lived! Sometimes they even run cattle through the main drag and pictures looked like a John Wayne movie!  We camped and woke up to have coffee, scones, and a cinnamon roll that the local bakery. We shopped around and just spent the day strolling in and out of shops...then we headed back home!
